Job Title: Landscape Construction Project Manager
Location: Snohomish, WA
Position Summary:
The Landscape Construction Project Manager is responsible for supervising field construction across multiple commercial and residential projects, ensuring completion within budget, on schedule, and to quality standards. This includes managing installations of irrigation systems, hardscapes, retaining walls, landscape lighting, and plantings. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to manage schedules, oversee materials and labor, expedite change orders, and coordinate subcontracted work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Design & Supervision: Design and implement multi-zone irrigation systems based on landscape plans, meter size, and site specifications. Supervise installations of hardscapes, lighting, retaining walls, and plantings.
- Crew Leadership: Hire, train, and lead on-site construction crews (3-6 people) following company values.
- Scheduling & Procurement: Coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors for project timelines, updating resources as needed.
- Contract & Document Management: Review project contracts, specifications, drawings, and other related documents for project requirements.
- Safety & Site Management: Ensure site safety, security, and proper staging of materials and equipment.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Department Managers and clients to adjust project priorities based on client demands.
- Project Tracking: Use Aspire workflow system for payroll, job costing, and budget tracking; meet with finance and operations leaders to discuss job costing and invoicing trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscape construction project management, specifically in supervising crews and managing budgets.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape construction techniques.
- Ability to read landscape plans, interpret specifications, and manage project documentation.
